Sooo, our first stop, Dubai!!
What to expect? Flying to Dubai in the Airbus A380 is an experience on it's own. It is so enormous...
Dubai it's like an oasis in the dessert. The first thing you see is the Burj Khalifa it's so amazingly big! It rises high above all other buildings and gives a good impression of what dubai is like, a playgroud for adults. Just imagine something, Dubai has it! Biggest shopping mall in the world, Check ( including an big-ass waterfall and icerink. The highest building in the world, Check. Biggest dancing fountain, check. Biggest glass wall ( aquarium) check. And I can keep on going like this for like 5 pages:P
So what did we do, We are couchsurfing at Martin's place, 5 star apartmentcomplex, including a roof pool. We Visited Dubai Marina, the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arbab and the gold market.
We aslo did the real Dubai experience: "Desert Safari". That was pretty cool, dune bashing, camel riding, sandbording (this did not work at all, the slope of the sand dune has to be so steep to get the board sliding) Dressed up as real Arabs and smoked shisha:)
Dubai for us is a crazy city with some entertainment for everyone!! But how long it will last, That's the question! It's like a Mirage, this moment you see it in 5 years................
Now to another 'play' paradise: Bangkok!!!
